Laser Workmodes

Laser Engraving

What it does: Vaporizes the material's surface to create a noticeable, physical cavity or depression.

How it works: High power and high speed remove material quickly. It creates highly durable marks that resist wear.

Best for: Wood, plastics, stone, glass, and raw metals.

Laser Annealing

What it does: Heats metal to its melting point without vaporizing it, causing a permanent chemical color change.

How it works: Low power and slow speed heat the metal smoothly. It leaves the surface completely flat and smooth to the touch.

Best for: Titanium, steel, and medical devices where smooth, bacteria-resistant surfaces are required.

Laser Hatching

What it does: Fills in the interior of a shape or letter with tightly spaced lines to create solid shading.

How it works: The laser moves back and forth in patterns (like cross-hatching). Adjusting the line spacing changes the fill density.

Best for: Filling in thick fonts, logos, or large shapes during engraving or marking.

Laser Cutting

What it does: Slices completely through a material to separate a specific shape.

How it works: Maximum power and slow speed concentrate the energy into a narrow beam, often assisted by gas to blow away melted debris.

Best for: Acrylic, wood, leather, textiles, and sheet metals.
